Assistance Program

The Crime Victim Assistance program is a competitive grant established to help fund projects providing effective services to crime victims in Arizona. Grant proposals are considered from public agencies, tribal agencies, and private non-profit organizations. Grant applications must be completed and submitted through the ACJC Grant Management System. The following are important dates associated with the annual grant award process:

January  ACJC approves total available funding and sets funding priorities
End of January  Annual grant orientation meeting for interested applicants
1st Week of February Six week application period opens
Mid-March Application period closes
April  Funding recommendations approved by ACJC Victims Committee
May ACJC approves grant funding recommendations
June Grant agreements sent to funded agencies
June 30 Funded grant period ends
July 1 Funded grant period begins
